burning ring of fire

I ve missed everyone Fri. my wife tooke oldest to college and I stayed home to bring youngest sunday.Fri about 2 pm our house burnt completely. Thnak god kids werent home just me and the devil dog but we both got out with three pictures and a kithchen aide mixer an a 20 dollar bill every thing eles is toast.I have been very sirene.Never knew I had so many freinds.I always thought material things were important but what an eye opener.the first time I heard my kids voice I lost it cryed like a baby.Maybe this is a lesson I needed I learned quickly what is truley important to me and money cant buy it I think I have had a spiritual slap in the face.hope this finds everone doing well Ive thought of my family here to.God bless you all.

Wow... I am so sorry! Like you say, though, thank God the kids weren't home, and you and the dog made it out safely. I hope you will be able to rebuild or find a new place to live soon.

*hugs and prayers*

What a horrible thing to have to endure. My sister lost all her belongings in a move across several states, caught on fire in Tennessee, got to North Carolina without hardly a thing. We sent lots of care packages to them and I bet we could get one organized on here for ya'll!!!! Just say the word and if you wanna pm me an address to ship stuff too. . .we'll see what we can gather up!!!!!

Thank God, you are all physically ok!!!!

Hugs & Prayers going out to you and yours!

I'm sorry for the loss of your home, and so glad that nobody was hurt. Nobody wants to go through the tough stuff like this...but I can tell that you are already learning valuable lessons and gaining a wisdom and deep insight because this happened.
I know that I've been shaken up a few times with some pretty serious situations and like you realized just how wonderful life is and how thankful I am for those blessings that money can't buy and fire can't take away.
hugs and prayers for you and your family,
cmc

Bagger, I hope you are coping allright with this loss. My home is my sanctuary and thinking of your event reminds me how much value it is to me.

Hearing that your family and wonderful dog survived unscathed though, shows me I am too attached to material things. I too would cry like a baby with joy, knowing that my family is ok.

I had a similar major loss a few years back and was stunned by the generosity of people I didn't even know, stepping forward to help my family out. And volunteer firemen, I'm sure they travel on the wings of God.

((((Bagger)))) so sorry you lost your home. So grateful your family are ok.

I must say I am SO impressed with your attitude and the way you are dealing with this. You would have every reason to moan and groan and yet you are so positive and grateful for what you have got.

You are an inspiration.

Love Squirty xxx

I'm so sorry Bagger! At least everyone is okay. When I was 5 my house burnt down and we lost everything. Sooo many people stepped up to help us. We had to stay in a hotel for awhile. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.

This too shall pass. God Bless.

Hey Bagger; there's nothing like those smushed faced dogs, is there. Saw an awesom bulldog on the beach yesterday! He was10 months old and already a tank. My guys 13. His names Doug.

Sorry about your toes. That happened to my dad. It was pretty painful.

How's your living situation going?
