i dont feel comfortable saying what my addiction is but man this is day one and i cant stop crying and shaking and i feel so sick, does anyone else go through this

Hi there I used to live in Calgary....by the Saddledome.

My addiction made me cry and shake and feel real sick for a long time.I would say that we have all been thru that sort of thing. And yes it does suck big time.

yeah Im either dope sick or still slung over from a nice little binge.Im coming off hydros hadnt used in 7 8 10 days maybe dont really know but I hurt so bad I got drunk as I could. I wish I could remeberd pay now or pay later.I am almost 40 I am having floods of emotions right now just trying to make it a little longer if I can make it through today Ill work on making it through tommorow.

Depending on the addiction, you may need medical management. Some withdrawals can be very dangerous and even fatal. Alcohol is one and benzos are another.
I hope you get more knowledgable advice than I have.

Like liveweyered just said, withdrawal from certain drugs can be risky.You may need to see a doctor.

Tell us what you're withdrawing from, maybe some of us might give you some valuable info from their experience.
I also recomend rehab. That's what I did for my Herion and Benzo withdrawal.

I hope you are okay. Addiction is terrible, I am only a few days sober myself, coming off of Vicodin, Ambien, and others. Just keep going one minute at a time. If you can say "no" this minute, then you can say no the next. I wish you all the best.
