Fast detox? - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

I have been speaking to someone on another forum who says that she has been told that she can detox off a codeine based pill in 7 days using subutex. She will be free of the original codeine preparation and off the subutex in 7 days?
Sounds too good to be true? Anyone think this is possible? Likely?

Oh sure i think it's possible, I detoxed off a 400-500mg day coedine and it seemed a breeze compared to benzo withdrawal.
Mind you I don't know if 400-500mg a day codeine is a lot or not ...I really have know idea.
Does anyone know?

and it is an addiction and I am proud of you for working hard and getting off! Thats awesome. All you guys that got over your addictions are my heros, and I will soon hopefully be like you!

I used codeine pills to get off Heroin, in the end I was doing both together, about 500mg of tramadol is what Iw as doing.
Only a rehab worked for me. I was near dead.
