| Perpetual Withdrawal..
I dozed off on the couch and had this dream.. i dreamed I went to the Dr. for my withdrawal ..he told me " Im' sorry to break it to you but you have a very rare disorder called "perpetual withdrawal" "A rare condition that I have never seen..but you definitely have it" "You could get worse..but never better...this withdrawal is NEVER going to go away" "I am so sorry to tellyou this." "Is there anyone I can call for you"???? I woke up in a anxiety attack... I made it through another day..pacing, sweating..up and down...gagging..sneezing,,anxiety,,,, It has to get better soon....I have never been one to trust doctors..especially the ones in my dreams.. love north |

Opiate withdrawal sucks, I remember the physical & psychological torment (I also had the racing heart syndrome and chronic anxiety) hang in there, you'll get to love life again!

It seems like forever and ever but it gets soo much better that sometimes I forget how bad it was. Thanks for remiding me. It will pass if you hang in there and NOT do it alone. I also had the rapid heart beat (supersonic) and horrible anxiety (still have some of that) but life is soo wonderful clean. Reach out and be strong.

Well, I know that, for me, I rarely have such dreams unless I'm pretty close to being clean. I still occasionally have drinking dreams, although I have not had a drink in years. You mind may just be working stuff out, dealing with the effects. No deep thoughts from me on this one, except that things may just be about to turn around for you...the worst may be over... All my best, Bear

the term Perpetual Withdrawal is interesting because sometimes I feel that way with regards to my sweating. I don't recall ever sweating this easy but I seem to sweat extremely easily now. I can't help think that it's a result of my years of addiction.

I dont want to seem harsh, because I know what you are going through. But look at it this way, you could be withdrawling in jail. And you will always remmember this time in your life. Good luck, and dont give up 5 minuets before the miracle happens.

Hang in there! I remember kicking opiates thinking it would never end. And I remember the sneezing! My nose was running constantly and I had the shakes so bad. But it does pass, just keep going!

I think the dream is a good sign. You came up with a diagnosis! I am sorry to hear you are having such a bad time. I hope you can break this "perpetual withdrawl" and get to the next stage. Hang in there!
