Hello again and thanks again for everyone's support and feed back I took my last soma(soma's) last night after work!!! I have felt a bit of anxiety and depression my tummy hurts a bit but nothing big!! yea! Im so excited It is nothing like the 5 years of AMBIEN addiction withdraws at all. thank the good Lord. I went to see my preacher this morning for a counseling session and he prayed with me and talked with me and is so supportive and helpfull. I went to both community service and work right after that today and I feel alright not great but alright and that is better to me than having my life ruined ! Im not and will not let this overcome my life I have too much at stake. and the knee/ ankle/ back pain is not even there anymore! Im sure it will come and go but thats what Ibuprofen is for hehe im so happy and proud of myself!! Im just glad I got this out in the open in time because I had not been taking them for a long period of time and its a lil' eaisier to kick. the only thing is im having a prob sleeping tonight its 2 am here in Texas but ill live. If i didnt get this out in the open on this forum I dont know what would have happened yes I made the discisson to stop but the feedback I got was an eye opener. I even talked to my mom about it and she said she could tell something was up. she is so supportive also not mad at me like I thought! I hope you all know the ones who gave me advice/ stories how much you have helped me. its only been 1 day but thats 1 step!!!!! I kicked the amb. so I know I can kick this.!! Still working on the eating disorder but getting better.( eating more). The power of prayer works wonders for me Love to all M |

I am sorry but I didn't know you could be addicted to ambien. I was just put on it. My doc was oxys and any other narcotic. Thanks for the thread, I will definetly call me doctor and tell him to put me on something else. I even asked him if these meds were addictive and he said no, what a croak! Keep up the good work and thank you!

That's great TexasGrL! You can overcome this. Just keep posting and getting out your thoughts. Alycia, just be careful with the Ambien or nything he decides to give ya. Doctors think they know what's best for us when sometimes they don't. Unfortunately, anything can be addictive if we let it. We're here for you too! Ya'll keep posting.
