I googled it and yes, they are 5/500 mg generic Lortab. APAP is Acetamenophen (Tylenol). Please don't take them. They are addictive and they are not yours to take.

Yes, definitely stay away. They are addictive as hell. I've been addicted for almost three years and coming off of them is NOT fun. I hope you do stay far, far away from them. It's sooo not worth it.

My daughter is your age and she became addicted to Oxycontin and Vicodin. She now lives with her 37 year old crack boyfriend in a seedy motel. This girl had everything. Thought she could have fun with prescription opiates. She now has no job, no home, no college and no family. Don't know if she is having fun because I don't have contact with her. Don't take them. That could be you. Marle

Nice, My daughter graduated from prescription meds to heroin. Not much of a leap when you are an addict. She vowed she would never do heroin. But when the precription meds are hard to find heroin will do. So please don't take them. They can only leave a trail of destruction. Marle

Nice, I believe that you were on here before asking about cocaine. Well my daughter has smoked crack too. Once you start doing the harder drugs, you never know where it will take you. She sure didn't. How are you doing with the pot addiction? Hope that you are trying to get clean. Good luck, marle

imagine trying to overcome two addictions. don't mess with hydro's. It ruined the last 3 years of my life. the human body is an amazing thing (both good and bad) and you'll be addicted before you know what hit you. A great line from the movie Candy regarding opiate addiction... "when you can quit you don't want to, but when you want to you can't."

Hi Nice - I hope you'll listen to what the members are trying to tell you and leave those pills where you found them. Better yet, let your mom know you found them and she can put them away. I really hope you'll trust what people have said here about the horrors of being addicted to this drug. It is hell on earth to get off once you're addicted, which can happen before you even know it. You really don't want to go down that road.

Nice --listen --This is EXACTLY were it all starts. PLEASE DO NOT EXPERIMENT WITH THE PILLS. You are smart enough to find us, now listen to us. They have RUINED and ALMOST RUINED half the people on here. You are in a spot right now that most of us DREAM OF. I wish that I had asked before I took. I didnt and now 4 years later, I am a dad of 3 with an addiction problem and I almost ruined my life. I am a college graduate with high honors and a masters degree, saying that not to be egotistical, but to let you know that the pills destroy any type of person in there path --DO NOT TAKE THEM and do not let your friends start taking them

Don't do it.... it is not worth it. They aren't your anyhow.
I take Oxycontin 3x day perscribed for my cronic osteosrthritis pain and although without it I would be in bed, not working and basiclly my quality of life would be plain crap..... even though these pills have given me my life back so to speak they also at the same time control me and I would not wish this on my worse enemy. I have 2 choices....continue to take them and live 80% pain free but with a pill addiction or stop taking them and live in uncontrolable pain 24/7/365.
Personally... at this time I have no choice but to take them I want to function in society, live and work like a normal person but I know these pills are controlling me and it is the worse feeling a person can have.
It took me 2yrs of total pain, missing work all the the time, loosing jobs due to missing work cuz of pain..... it took 2yrs and an MRI before any Dr believed me as they thought I was just looking for a high... but I was looking for pain relief and now that I got the pain relief I find that soemtimes I am looking for the high cuz of tolerence if I feel high I know they are working...does that make sense?
It started out as pain control and now it is pill control. DO NOT EVEN START!!!! Even if oneday you need pain control due to cronic pain...find other ways to deal with it besides pills.... they should be last resort only if at all. I learned to late.

what the hell are you doing man. you would be better off smoking a joint than F-ing with pills.

and they are not your pills that would be stealing. stealing to get high.

pills are a nasty thing to take, all they do is make you feel bad.

you want to stop smoking pot then stop smoking pot. after a few weeks you will be able to go to sleap. that is the hardest part is going to bed at night.

i don't think you a even ready. pot is not like heroin or crack, it is not that big of a deal. it makes you sort of stupid and slow , but it is not as desructive and a hard drug, it can make you a looser who lives at there moms house and cant keep a job, that is one simptom, pot heads are full of so many excuses it is realy pitifull.

but a pill poper is much much worse of a thing than being a pot head, don't F with pills man, and dont take other peoples pills that is mesed up. get a job get your own house and eat your own damn pills.

your brother is in school your parents are at work ,you are 20 , what the hell are you doing in there house looking for munchys and contimplating popping pills for? get your @$$ outside and get to work.

if i was your father i would pick you up by your neck and toss you out side like a dog.

I understand the point you are trying to make here, but I beg to differ with your statement that pot "is not that big a deal." It very much depends on the person. For me, pot is a HUGE deal. I have tried many other drugs, not that I advocate my stupidity there in any way, but pot is what has brought me down.

It bothers me when people want to compare if one drug is worse than another. Try telling an alcoholic that just drinking a couple of beers is ok.

FOR YOU, pot may not be a big deal, I know many people who can smoke it occasionally and be fine. I can not. Such blanket statements really dont' help anyone.

My question for Nice is, if you already know you have a problem with pot, why are you even considering trying other drugs? What has been said here about pill addiction is true. Most of the people sharing with you are sharing their personal experience. Pot can be hard to kick psychologicly, but the physical withdrawals are pretty minimal. From what I have heard from many pill poppers, the physical withdrawals won't kill you, but you sure feel like you're dying.

You are playing Russian roulette. If you take pills will you absolutely get addicted? Not necessarily, but being that you already seem to have a problem with addiction, I would say the odds aren't in your favor. Take care.

Yes! They are very addicting. I have gone from 5 mg to 10 mg to taking Oxycotin.
Oxycotin is almost just like heroin.. It is usually the drug you hear about when people rob phrmacies...I would throw those away and don't even begin. You will get addicted and will get to where the 5mg are just not enough. Now I would have take many of them at one time to get any effect from them.. How I wished I never ever started with those darn pills..

That's awesome! Do not take pills! Please. Just read some stories here about how pills ruined people's lives and their families. I wish I never would have taken a single Lortab in my life.

Take care,
B
