Requip?

I am not seeking medical advice, just personal experience from anyone who took or is taking Requip for w/d leg spasms. I'd like to know what the duration was that you took Requip for. I don't want to take any drug unnecessarily (especially if it ain't getting me high... )

Well, I've had restless legs since I was a child. I took Requip about a year and a half ago. I took it for about 2 weeks and didn't see any improvement. It just made me feel weird. Maybe I should have stayed on it longer.

I have had RLS for years. I gave requip a try and it was horrible for me. I felt like absolute crap from it. I dont recommend it. Try taking calcium magnesium before bed it seems to work for me somewhat.

My best friend has been taking it for some time now. For her, it has been like a miracle. She used to wake up more tired than when she went to bed. I don't know what long term effects the med has, but I can ask her.

I developed RLS when I started on Lexapro 20mg. Began Requip about a month later and it was like a miracle drug. I oringinally started taking it at bedtime but that was after the RLS started. I changed to taking it at dinner time and I have not had any problems since (about 2 yrs). I take .5 mgs and have zero side effects.
