Cat, There IS a bad flu going around down here in Texas, also. MY niece had it, but got a Tamaflu shot the first day, so her terrible, lay in the bathroom all night, symptoms only lasted one week.... Hope you feel better soon, the flu sucks sour grapes. Good news, is you will never have that STRAIN of flu ever again. Of course, there are about 3,000 different strains of flu and more adding every day...makes you feel better, huh? ha, sorry....

cc girl, go to photobucket.com and get a free account upload the pics from your computer to that site, it will walk you through that then, once they are on photobucket, go to the last tag, the one that starts with IMG...just click on the box with all the jargon in it...that will copy it, then just paste it into your post hope that helps

Um, Cat, I'll wait to get together with you til your bug passes. No offense!!! We already call my house the house of death in the winter. We catch EVERYTHING! P.S. I just want you all to know I wasn't totally bragging about my oldest daughter with the modelling thing. It was two years ago and I didn't follow up, and actually my main point was while she is pretty, she can't take a good picture for ****. Your kids in the above pictures, however, are very photogenic. |

MISTI !!!!!!! How are you feeling? Everyone got sick here at my place too. It all started on 2/5 with Chase (cousin's 20mth old son) getting the vomiting/stomach bug. Then on 2/7 my cousin & her hubby were sick with the stomach bug they caught from thier son. Then on 2/8 her 6yr old daughter Olivia was sick with same stomach bug plus...she ended up with strep throat on top of it. Then on 2/9 both of my cousin's parents were sick with the stomach bug that they caught from babysitting both sick kids. Then my mom and I were both sick on 2/12 with the same stomach bug that we caught from all of them because... we babysat from 5pm-9pm one evening when my cousin & her hubby were sick and the kids were feeling better....wanted to give them a break from the kids for a few hours so they themselves could just lay and rest and not worry about kids bugging them. We were like "send the kids downstairs for the evening if you want to rest" they were all for that idea and I wiped down everything those kids touched while down here yet still...my Mom & I caught it anyways. OH WELL..LOL!!! The stomach thing lasted about 36hrs or about a day & a half but...it was close to 3 days before I felt like I wanted to eat anything or even had any sort of appetite at all. Strange how viruses work huh? No matter how much you wipe crap down to avoid spreading the germs you still end up catching whatever it is within a few days. Thank God I got a flu shot so I don't need to worry about getting the flu this year. Misti (( HUGZ )) Hope you and the little ones are feeling better. Miss ya |

I am thinking that maybe her internet is off ??? she said something about her boss and her phone/internet...a bit back ??? I know she was sick too...just wondering how she is too..... check in if you can and get better... ~B |

so sorry to have disappeared...all your well wishes not only surprise me (i guess i always undervalue myself), but really touch me. i feel really badly i haven't checked in....the thread has been going great with TD now, and without really having anything to say, i didn't want to interrupt i finally yesterday got around to picking up my antibiotics, so hopefully will begin feeling better. right now, i'm just exhausted...like someone said...when you're really sick and just want to stay in bed, it's hard to take care of three kids on top of that...it kind of hinders the getting well process, i think. i've only been able to do a bit at a time....make dinner, lay down....bathe kids, lay down....wash bottles, lay down....i have checked e mail, and looked at the thread every day, just not really felt like posting anything...i esp feel bad when i can post something here, but then not go into someone else's thread to support them...easier just not to post at all.... i'm going to post this, and some more pics of the kids, so TD doesn't show me up....tell you all thanks again so much, and how much i love you guys...and then go lay down again. i hope to post in mommies later today, and maybe check out the new stuff since i have been gone. sorry i haven't been around, i'm just wiped out. like i've said before, though...if i am using, i can talk 24 hours straight...it's when i am sick that i can't. sure sign i'm sober is not posting, lol ok, here's the very first times jake sat up and he pulled up....i was lucky enough to be here and have a camera handy the first times...he's the first kid i have caught these moments with:

Misti, Hope this sickness you have wears off fast! Cute photos, show me up, huh? That little boy is happy and chunky. What a smiling face.../. and bright eyes! You are lucky to have a camera so handy when these baby things happen for the first time. It's smart to leave it laying around and very handy.... And, YOU can NEVER interrupt anything....POST, post, post, no worries, mate.
