Hey Folks... I just wanted to write a quick post to let everybody know how I was doing. Well amid all of the trials and tribulations I continue to be clean. I have to go back to court tomorrow morning and face a possible 10 years for forging a prescription. This happened in 2005. It has caused me to think about relapse but what good would that do? My attorney thinks I will only get 14 months but who knows. I have decided to put it in my higher powers hand and let him handle it. One thing I know for sure is that I can handle this and do it with a clean mind. If there is anyone that has any advice, I would love to hear it. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers as all of you are in mine.

RightTrack- Well that's no fun. I've seen the inside of a court-rooms on a much lesser charge and I was quaking. My heart goes out to you and I just know don't what else to say. They can dangle a threat of TEN YEARS for forging a single bleepin' script? Goodness. I know there's got to be some people on here who have actually served time, hopefully one of them will weigh in. Treat this challenge just like your addiction, ok? Day-at-a-time. Don't project too far ahead, don't look back too much. The first is impossible to read; the latter, already done. The Serenity Prayer comes to mind to mind here as quite apropos, and in my mind I'll hold your hand in my mine and prayer with you... God grant me the serenity To accept the changes I cannot change, The courage to change the things I can, And the wisdom to know the difference. Ten |

It gave me some clean time to get myhead together and I did a pretty intense drug program on the inside that was great,, Sending up a prayer for the best possible outcome!! love north |
