Heroin Twins on Dr. Phil - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

Wow todays show on Dr. Phil was to real. I am so Thankful for being in my recovery phase of addiction. These girls are heroin and crack addicts that the show followed into the streets. I have only used heroin one which i snorted and smoked it I didn't remember the next 18 hours I'm not even sure if I was conscious. Crack was my drug of choice and it was bad enough but after seeing this show that one night on heroin made alot more sense to me . I will never go back to that life. I f someone else saw the show let me know what you thought.

I watched the show too. It was very difficult to watch this young lady so messed up and could barely understand what she was saying. Her twin I think is clean after being in jail and is 6 mos pregnant. The other twin couldnt even remember the night before either and would get high in a cemetary wow. Do you know the lady that was video taping her was also an addict she was a drug and rehab nurse and she shot up drugs too. Dr Phil did an intervention with her too. I hope all turns out good for these girls just have to wait til next week. The one part of the show that really made me upset was the one girl teaching the other girl how to shoot up heroin, why would you do that to someone now that girls life if pretty much ruined. The twin who did it to her shot her up with heroin while she is on the Dr Phil show for help.... Now what about that girl you just got hooked on heroin? That part really and still irkes me. KJ

yes that was disturbing, Next week it said that the pregnant one shot up again too, after they where at Dr phils house. next week should be interesting. thanks for your reply. I'm glad I was never that wasted and believe me I got really high too. I really made me sick to my stomach

I didn't see the show but lived it except for crack. It's very common for younger addicts to do both and get twice and screwed up and crazy. Dr Phil is not my first choice for helping street addicts.

I never saw the Show .....But I was one of those girl's Begging on the street's of London for my next bag of Both...! H n C...on methadone awsell and benzo's.!

I lived that life......So please learn form that as 'It's Hell'...!
Only Give food,......and always 'Dont' be the one who look's away,...as too many do,....Give Hot drinks in Winter,....Always Grateful for that one...!

But I lived to tell My tail,...Gratefully......

Hope you see where it all leads..........

I saw it also. Pretty graphic. That chick wont live to see 2007 if she dosnt get clean. She has no reason to live, but maybe the intervention will work for her long enough for her to see some light in her life. Glad I never had to get that far gone to come clean. At her level of use, shes in a real world of pure misery. Very sad. Hope she makes it. That would be a real success story for sure.

It was very heartbreaking to watch these girls.Im not sure if Dr.Phil knows whats its like on the other side.This other side being the loved ones,of addicts,and how they,have,try their,best to help them and get help for them.All to no avail.Im wondering this,by his statement---who gave up on these girls.Being an alcoholic myself i know that others did their best to help.I didnt accept it,until i was ready for help.Im praying that the girls be willing to accept Dr.Phils help.

My name is Mysti and I am that girl she taught how to shoot up. Up until just recently my life WAS a wreck, I don't blame Tecoa or Sara, but it certainly started with them. The most unbelievable thing is, the woman who was doing all the video(Jody, I think her name was), was buying us drugs in order to get the footage she needed to do her job. Yes, it IS true. She was more vile then they. I reached a point that I was withdrawling SO bad, she told me she would only buy me drugs if I signed a release for the video b/c the producers were VERY interested and wanted to use it. I asked her if I signed would they help me....she said after the heroin twins it would be awhile before another 'drug addict' show. I was sick. I signed it anyway. Then a year and a half later my at the time bestie Stephanie aka Babysitter gone bad was on the show.FML. Jody FINALLY called me about 8 months ago and again you WON'T believe it. She asked me if I wanted to do a show, they would put me in a fancy rehab...blah blah blah....I told her I was doing OK at the time, off the heroin but drinking and smoking. She said well if your in a relapse why don't you just get high a few times and let me record it and get in a nice rehab for help. A few family members even said I should do it. LOL. Thank GOD I am OK right now and I refused. I wish there was SOME way for me to make known what is going on in Annapolis MD with Jody. I posted something on the Dr. Phil site and they deleted my account. Oh and Jody turned the camera off a few times and taught me as well. Yes, she did.

Thank you for your concern.....I thought no one even noticed me or cared.

I see people like that just about every day. I do my best to make sure they have the tools and information necessary to stay alive and that's about it.

I'm in Annap, and would love to see you get well. Would you like to meet up at an NA meeting? Do you need a ride to one or anything? Also, I can get you into a rehab program if you are sincere. I have a doctor contact from work in a Baltimore outpatient rehab who takes my recommendations.

Way to go Kj3880 thats how it works one addict giving a hand up to another take her up on it Mysti.I think its disgusting how Dr.Phil played that clip of that girl over and over.I did watch that show it upset me I felt like they were using those girls.A good show whould be a follow up show hopfully they are doing well and show that we can and do recover

Friend of mine is an electrician. He and his helper were doing some electrical work in Dr. Phil's house and they stayed after 5pm in order to knock out the job quickly as a favor to the busy Dr. Phil. He said Dr. Phil walked in the house while they were working and said......"Why are you still in my house?".
