Keep up the good work. I have had a few light urges for some pills but don't want to feel that way after a few day binge and dissapoint my family and myself. I have a neck problem that I could and have gotten pills for but it hasn't been that bad, luckily. I admire you for staying off the dope, (pills) with more pain. I don't know if I could.

Good job, Ayla Zaire...keep up the good work.
Also good job to you xjunkie4u.

Insomnia is my biggest problem right now. I am still not sleeping very well. Here lately, only about 3 hours a night. I have been trying melatonin from the health food store and it helped pretty well at first but now it doesn't seem to be helping very much. I usually wake up around 1:00am and just lie in bed tossing and turning the rest of the night. I think a lot of it is work related stress here lately but I have also been told that insomnia is one of the longest withdrawals to get over. But I will survive....

Hey all, day 36 here, I think. I feel pretty good. My sleep is getting better and most other symptoms are gone. Having some trouble with the mental cravings, but I usually work through it somehow.

Great job ccgirl, keep it up.

This is day 59 for me...overall I'm doing good. Still have bad days though but most of the time I'm doing ok. The insomnia is still the hardest part at this point. I'm hoping it gets better soon, but I'm surviving and enjoying life much better than I was when I was on the hydro's.

Teach-You are perfectly FINE...you are freaking out about the other posts!!!!! If your MD told you to take these drugs for a reason , then so be it...I take 5 mg. of methadone for pain...I am allergic to morphine, Demerol and I do not want to get into it all. My pain specialist said that 5mg. of methadone is eqaul to what you are taking!!! So take your pain meds at night and be happy that you can sleep and OH......SHALOM.......PEACE....

My sleep has improved greatly, it did take getting on an anti depressant for it to improve..I now go to bed early at 9.30 and usually wake at 5am, even at weekends...I used to go to bed at 12-1am since I can remember so it is great that my habits are better...would be great to lay in occasionally but I am not complaining. I was on a higher dose of the AD I am on now and sleeping meds and still I wasnt sleeping so I have made great progress.

I have also managed to control some of my pain with a anti inflammatorie that I had a reaction to many years ago...I took it this morning for the first time and was very anxious about taking it but I was ok, the pain is just about bearable so if it stays like this then I hopefully wont have to go back to codeine but in my mind it would have to be so I couldnt walk before I put it back into my body..I have been told I can take it but I didnt feel like I should so I feel I am making progress with my addiction.

By His Blood,

I do exercise as often as I can, but most of the time that's not very often, or at least not often enough. I spend alot of my off time playing with my boys (baseball, basketball, chess...). I get some good exercise with them. I also walk on the tread mill pretty often when I can. My problem is that I work way too many hours and that's pretty hard on my bad back. But I'm not complaining. It could always be worse. I am very thankfull for all that I have. I have a wonderful wife, two wonderful children, a good house and a good job, good friends....and someday I'll have SLEEP....lol....

Chloe, If you don't mind me asking, which anti-inflammatory did you get relief from? The reason I am asking, is because it'll be time for me to see my dr. in about a month for my wellbutrin refill, and i want to ask for something for my pain, something not a painkiller, non addictive. Any suggestions are appreciated, thanks. the naproxen isn't doing as much for me as is was in the beginning.

By the way, Blue, you are truly an inspiration, congratulations! 60 days is just amazing, really.
