Abusing Prescribed Subs - Reason to Leave Marriage?
 

First time posting here.

I'm in recovery; been sober 5 years now.

My husband has not been so lucky. He's been on suboxone for over a year now. Lately he's been relapsing insofar as taking all his medicine, running out early, and then turning to alcohol. This has happened like 6 times in the past 5 months with the last time happening two days ago.

We are closing on a house in two weeks. I feel like this is it; do I leave? Do I back out of buying the house? Do we buy the house? He says he will start going to NA/AA and already has an appointment see a psychologist to treat what is probably a mix of undiagnosed depression/anxiety.

We have a four year old together and his 10 year old son lives with us.
