Began my addiction treatment

Hello,

So I saw my psychiatrist today and addressed my addiction to Adderral very honestly and openly. We are starting a less addictive medication that is harder to abuse, as I need something for my ADHD but I don't want to be able to abuse it for a high.

I have been off of the Adderral Instant Release for almost a week now and I feel like crap. Basically, I am really tired, depressed, unmotivated, and I can't think straight. I crave it so much, but I don't want it to be a part of my life anymore. What I am saying is that I miss it but I don't want to have it be an addiction in my life.

I have found myself drinking more caffeinated drinks since I stopped dosing on Adderral, to defeat my exhaustion and lack of motivation...

I hope this will get easier. I almost want to cry.

-Jay
