quitting opiates cold turkey

take it from an ex addict.you can not take opiates all your life.they will eventually stop working.you have to quit soon.sooner than later. the longer you go on them.the harder it is to kick it .i was on them for 6 years.and coming off them was hell on earth.
i never slept longer than 3 hours at a time,i had terrible bed sweats for months.i should use the term pool soaked sweats,what vicodin does to your stomach it does double time repairing it.i ate soup for months straight.i can say its like having the flu for months.these articles that say vicodin withdrawel last 7-14 days are full of it.
maybe for an average person.but if your addicted to them for years,you can not work for months ...and you ask yourself when will i start feeling better.well i'll be honest with everyone,it takes a very long time.but the reward is a high in itself.24/7 you feel like you did when you were on them. so to everyone wanting to quit.i say do it now !
cuz i took control of my life and you all can too.its all in the palm of your hand.you can do it.its all in the mind.i stopped cold turkey. and i thank god i did or i wouldnt be here telling this to all of you.take care of your body.you only get 1 ,and 1 life to live
