step 4 lonely soldier

presently working on my fourth step. It say to right our wrongs. when I think about it I've so much harm to myself than anyone else. I have asked my for forgiveness and I think my mother before she passed. My caused me not make my highest level in the military cause I would'nt walk over people for my next stripe. I always trained extra hard with and for my soldiers. Because I was liked be them and prefer their company rather than the stuck ups at my level, then there was always may issues to dill with. Because of things like this, I was drinking real heavey for years but still functioned and always did out standing work. all kind of acommadations/awards but was still unwanted by upper staff. Would not let me transfer out but not love at the same time Did know or want to know even after getting in trouble with DUI (2) total. I drinking for so long and carrying everyone else problems on my soldiers that the drinking did'nt sink in Be a loner and isolater did'nt help. So maybe this AA and step four will bring some light to the tunnel notworthy,

I am currently doing step 4 at the moment too.

I feel relief when I see alot of my resentments were just because of my distorted thinking and being aware of this helps me to see where I can change.

It definately offers light at the end of the tunnel.

Wishing you all the best.
