Broken Toys

I was cleaning out my purse getting ready for my trip and I found this poem that I use to read often b/c it really helped me.. May it will help some of you.
He Will Work It Out
As children bring their broken toys
with tears for us to mend
I brought my broken dreams to God
Becouse he was my friend

But then instead of leaving him
in peace to work alone
I hung around and tried to help
With ways that were my own

When I snatched my dreams back and cried
"How could you be so slow"?
He said, "My child, what could I do
You never would let go."

I do not know who the Author is, someone wrote this down for me and gave it to me and the Author wasn't listed. I really used it to help me let go of things that were not in my power to control anyway. Hope someone can get some use out of it as I did. Love all Debs.

I have seen it before and it is still as wonderful and true today as it was back when.
Thank you
It must have been a few years ago that I first had seen it.

let go...No really...LET GO and let God.

That is so true of our nature many times.
