Death is only the beginning of the end, the end of the beginning. What are people's views on death? How do they deal with it when it comes? Do you grieve for the loss of their life, the loss of their presence or the loss of what they did for you whilst alive? In life I often prayed for death, in my darkest moments I tried to bring death by suicide. I tried to live death through being gothic and slef-destructive in relationships and my existence through self abuse and self mutilation. I saw death as the appeasement, the release, the cessation of consciousness, the end of life which was too painful, too extreme, too pressured, too much to bear. Death was the answer but how could i feel the peace i sought if I was dead? Because I believed in the afterlife, but I also believe in karmic debts and reincarnation and that if I kill myself Ill just have to come back again. I played with death, I welcomed it to my parties and slept next to it at night and yet Death left me in the hands of life. I'll see death when the time is right, when the universe deems that my time on this earth is over, but until then i should also focus on Life. Death and Life. Views?

We are all dead but are walking about in skin and bones for a time. Death of the skin and bones only changes our perception of what life is. Till I accepted Jesus as my Lord and God, I was the walking dead. Nothing changes if nothing changes. The change was the acceptance of life through Jesus. As He tells us... I have come to give life and to give it fully to all who accept it.
