| the girl can't help it | Laughing
This is something that I am loosly translating from "the Tao" Chapter 41 If a scholar learns of the Tao he will be disiplined and follow it diligently... If an undergraduate learns of the Tao he will be impressed and follow it sometimes If a fool hears of the Tao he will laugh out loud and if he does not laugh out loud it it not the true Tao. I underststand that theTao translates to mean "the word",also the unimaginable, the highest and, the lowest,servant,ect.... This is very interesting to me because when I first learned of Jesus I understood that He was "the word" made flesh. I laughed and laughed and was so happy when I heard of this great word made flesh... Several years latter I read the Tao because by that point I was a highly evolved hippy freak....when I read chapter 41 of the Tao I was just so amazed by that!!!and remembered the laughter that was such a part of my greatest joy of coming to know Jesus...I imeadatly quit doing drugs for the first time upon reading the Tao. To me the Tao is writing about Jesus and many wonderous things have been given to me as a result of seeing Jesus in the Tao.... So my freinds could it be true that when we laugh that that is when we are closest to our HP? Being a fool can be quite fun I think for me it is....

I was discussing with some Christian friends of mine "The Tao" the topic came up because they were asking me if I had ever heard of Fung Shui.I shared what I knew of fung shui being the art of arangement and that it has roots in the Tao. I told them that "The Tao" is a collection of ancient chinese writting and possibly the oldest known written account of how creation originated. They were very interested to know more. I told them that "the tao" translates loosely to mean the "Word". Their eyes got big as saucers. I shared I translation of chapter 41 of the Tao... I see humor in what Jesus said I told them. Love your enemy to me is funny. Love is light not dark or heavy. Sometimes we are the enemy to ourselves so Jesus pointed to us loving ourselves in this statement also in his statement:Love your neighbor as yourself...again implies loving the self. Which also seems to imply to me that we will love and give to others the same way we love and give to ourselves. Jesus came here and showed us the word made flesh and even Christians cannot truely comprehend it. Judge not least you bring that judgement to yourself proves that how we relate to ourselves is also how we will relate to others. Our concepts of Love sometimes find us hurting, dying, and even killing. There are many people who believe the war going on right now is about love and about Jesus 2nd coming. Well I am pretty sure I cannot bring heaven to earth I am still not even sure that I truely love...today I am just going to look at myself and find something to smile about and hope that whatever I find to smile about turns to laughter and is about loving myself so that I can love others...

Splendra; Shakespeare often used a fool as a mouthpiece of wisdom. They acted as the sage. In some periods of the ancient world, the villiage "idiot" was revered and feared as being closest to the gods. Laughter is the best medicine! ![]() Shalom!

Shakespear is one collection of reading that I have never realy enjoyed. I guess because I couldn't just sit down and read his stuff. My H is really into Shakespear and he makes refference to him all the time. He is so theatrical one of his brothers does alot of stuff off Broadway acting and directing as well he calls us all the time for little bits of laughter and irony to use in his work they both write plays and novels.... My H has two novels that he needs to do something with d@mn it... I can say that one of the reasons I am still with my H is because he makes me laugh uncontrolably a lot!!
