All of You

Where your thoughts are
there you are

I have been fighting negativitiy for the last few days...
I find this statement to be so very true...
In the negative...and the positive...for I have had moments of respite...despite it all...
Shalom!

Teach,
It isn’t much fun when we are down. I have a couple of little things that I use to tip the scales when I am feeling bad. They won’t work when I am really down and I don’t use them too often for fear that they will lose their power but they are there. My little treasures include among other things a small rock I picked up on a little beach that always felt sacred to me, a favorite B-Movie type book I have read about four times, a favorite CD (a pastiche of classical dinner music), and about ten art books most especially one of Richard Diebenkorn’s work. Do you have your own similar little collection? Sometimes is it possible to tip the scales and cheat negativity.

Hugs,
Marsha

The Classical music is definately a pick me up, yes. Most of my art books are at school, but, that is a great idea! Spiritual tracks work for me at times. And meditation on positive ideas...
In the nicer weather, my garden is what really works for me. And the beach.
Thanks for reminding me. I know that sounds silly. But, honestly, I've been so busy, and so much has been going on with my son....sometimes, I simply am getting on and forget the basics of self care...
Shalom!

(((Teach)))

It isn’t negative to be in touch with a heart that is aching. Is it possible that this is all that was going on? You would be entitled. Good thoughts to you and your son.

Marsha
