Following Advice
----------------

There is no place for worry. You try to decide a course of action. If
you do not have the experience to decide, ask the advice of someone who
does --a parent, a teacher, an expert --someone reliable, but also
someone who is conscientious of your spiritual path.

Once you have decided what should be done, follow that course,
confident that since you are doing what you believe in, the Master of All
Things will support your decision.

Shalom!

TOTAL ....

If that was so true, the bank robber who believes he is doing right would be supported by who?

Best

You're taking things a little out of context today, yes? How about some coffee, this isn't like you.

That matters to me, I appreciate support and guidance from people who know my spiritual path.

I often share that if you are only giving your opinion, keep it to yourself.

If you are sharing your experience, I am all ears.

I believe God places people in our paths with the experience we need at the time, for the purpose of helping us in our spiritual growth.

Well said, and absolutely true. Through others, I often hear G*D's plan - when I am willing to listen with an open mind and heart.
And I too appreciate that support and guidance - from those who are reliable and conscious of my spiritual goals. I've been very blessed to have had many such people in my life. There is a reason for that, too.
Thanks

My apology to how I worded my post.

A collection of verses have been on my thoughts for about a week and I believe that is what prompted my rudeness.

Vain chasing...
pride and vanity within one's own thoughts...
Seeking one's own way...
A taking what you want and rejection of the rest.
A pick and choose.
Smorgage board religions and life styles.

All things of my past.
All things I look back on with remorse.
A anger of sorts at self for the blindness I held to and now a sadness of sorts as I see others I have talked with over the past couple of weeks (face to face) as I see some of them chase after emptiness as they battle that still small voice inside that tells them what is right and good.

I am sorry for the rudeness of my reply to your heart felt post.
Ann and namommy I thank you both for guidance and correction.
I will try to think before I type and not let emotions guide me.

Though I may understand what brought me to post as I did... it still wasn't proper.
My apologies and thankfulness to you for guidance and forgiveness.

Best, when nice people like you have a bad day, it makes people like me feel more normal because it happens to the best of us, no pun intended.

Best,

No apologies necessary for our emotions. Our feeling are real and they are ours. You obviously were meant to post that way, have it pointed out, so you can look inside for the core of what was bothering you. God DOES work.

Taking advice

this is one I have great difficulty with myself.
I often feel that I prefer to go to someone who is professional, who is trained because at times, the advice I was given was biased and judgemental, but at times, true very helpful.if I look at myself ,I have a tendancy to give opinions but it's after 14 years of therapy, I only want to share what I've learned if I can.Having said that, nobody knows what happens really in a situation, that's why it's so difficult. All I can do is listen to someone who is going through a difficult time without taking responsability for the emotional isssue at hand.
Just my opinion
