A sign

I've wanted to share something with the world of my spiritual experiences for a long time now. I need to explain that I have always known of God and pray to him all my life. I am so interested in psychic mediums and the Bible says do not listen to these false prophets but how can we disregard the crimes they solve and the unexplained things they seem to know? Anyway something Sylvia Brown says always struck a chord with me. Such as how we were all in Heaven once before and wrote our own charts. When we have dejavu, this is us remembering our charts? Ok so I searched the Bible years ago for death, heaven looking to see if we were all in heaven once before....I finally ask my brother who goes to church and Bible study groups and he tells me to ask God for a sign right ok. Well so one day driving I say out loud to God I know this is crazy but please send me a sign if we were all in Heaven once before. Ok a few weeks later my friends and I are scrapbooking and friend says oh my didn't I tell u my dream? My grandpa came for a visit from Heaven and before he left he told me to say hi to Alex for him....who is my son. And she said why Alex (and not HER son) He answered I knew him upstairs...he's a good guy. And he was dead b4 my son was born. I never told my friend about asking for this sign and the only reason it came up was because her husband called right when we were talking about him and since it was a weird coincidence, it reminded her of the dream. And she said she had the dream weeks before and meant to tell me. This confirms almost all the doubts I was beginning to have after my dad died. At 49 years old lung cancer. I just wanted to know if I will really see him again one day....he's been gone almost 8 years now and I miss him terribly.

TCB, I don't have all the answers, perhaps we're not meant to....but I believe there is something good after death and I believe that those who die before us "know" when we think of them or pray about them.

My mother passed almost 15 years ago, we were very close. I talk to her often and share things I think she would like about my life today. I think of all the wise lessons she taught me and when I count on one of them, I think "thank you mom". I share things I never got to share when she was alive. And I believe that when I die I will see her again...in some form, somewhere beautiful.

This works for me. Does she hear me? It doesn't matter because it makes "me" feel connected and better when I do it.

My dad died young too, at 46 years old when I was 6. I have only a handful of memories of the wonderful person he was, but I cherish each one and I feel I will someday see him again too. Right or wrong, it makes me feel good to believe that.

Your story of what happened comforts you, and it may very well be exactly as you see it. Somehow the spirit of someone who died touched your heart...that's all that really matters. You are better because it it, yes?

Thank you for sharing your story, it made me smile.

Hugs
