Post Page 417 of the Big Book

I have been having some discomfort in how things have been. Not just lately but for a very long time. And then I read this page in the Big Book. It sure took me back. "And acceptance is the answer to all my problems today." "When I complain about me or about you, I am complaining about God's handiwork. I am saying that I know better than God."
Wow! Kind of knocks you down a few notches, doesn't it?

Nice way to say it " have been having some discomfort in how things have been" Seems you are already at the acceptance part of it, good for you! Tough one, I know. Although, so much easier to not have expectations and just give the outcome to God.

IMNSHO this paragraph was inspired by something Bill Wilson wrote about 15 years earlier:

"It is a spiritual axiom that every time we are disturbed, no matter what the cause, there is something wrong with us. If somebody hurts us and we are sore, we are in the wrong also."
