Been A While

OK my friends, Im about to set fire to this page with the topic Im about to speak on. Please, during and after reading this, keep an open mid and know that what ever is said here will stay here. Recently, I've been doing a lot of research on different ways to get myself to eat and sleep more than 3 hrs a night. To date, I have not eatten solid food for the most part in over 2 yrs and currently live on Ensure. After trying numerous sleep meds, some which had me doing things like smoking and not knowing it until I saw the burn marks in the rug. Then I was going threw the new Governers budget plan and in there is a bill to legalize medical marijuana. From what I read the person is allowed 1 dried oz and 4 plants. From there I started researching different strains of it and how thousands of others use it strictly for medical purposes. I was amazed to find all the useful products that come from the hemp plant. But let me not get off the original topic. It is used from everything from stopping vomiting while doing kemo to Waisting diseases. Im not even sure if my lack of food intake would even qualify but Im at the point where im truely SICK of swollowing pills that do nothing but cost me money. Im running out of options and am in need of an answer that tons of Drs havent been able to supply me with. Well thats my topic and you (my friends) are the first ones Ive talked to about it. Please give me your opinions and dont powder coat them. Thanks

WEll, Tim..It has been my expereince that pot, legal or otherwise has always led me to justifying the use of other things.

I understand the discouragement over the use of meds and their side effects as well as the lack of effectiveness. I also understand many docs have lost the ability to feel compassion and empathy. We cannot however get discouraged. There is power in prayer and God is the great physician as well as our guide to the resources we need. For me, I not only have to remain vigilant but also diligent in my qwest to find the solution.

Maybe it is time to seek out an internist who specializes in gastrointestinal health issues or combine that with a faith healer.

I will affirm healing for you and will continue to hold you in prayer

Tim, I know you are sick and I think your decision should be made after discussing it with your doctor. If you aren't getting proper care from one doctor, try another.

The way you are living sounds unhealthy. Perhaps reach out to someone near you who can connect you with proper help.

Whatever you choose, I will keep you in my prayers.

Hugs
