| Have patience with everything unresolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves ... Don't search for the answers, which could not be given to you now, because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps then, someday far in the future, you will gradually, without even noticing it, live your way into the answer. rainer maria rilke

Thank You Angel Ann for keeping us going Lord, give me the courage to admit my mistakes, apologize, and go on. Keep me from getting stuck in my denial, despair, and, worst of all, fear of trying again. In your remolding hands, God of grace, failures can become feedback and mistakes can simply be lessons in what doesn't work. Remind me that you don't expect error-free perfection, you just look for me to do my best.

| There is some kiss we want with our whole lives, the touch of Spirit on the body. Seawater begs the pearl to break its shell. And the lily, how passionately it needs some wild Darling! At night, I open the window and ask the moon to come and press its face into mine. Breathe into me. Close the language-door, and open the love-window. The moon won't use the door, only the window. sufi mystic - jelaluddin rumi - 13th century

God give me the joy in the common things In the dawn that lures, the eve that sings. In the new grass sparkling after rain, In the late wind's wild and weird refrain; In the sprintime's spacious field of gold, In the precious light by winter doled. God, give me joy in the love of friends, In their dear home talk as summer ends, In the songs of children, unrestrained; In the sober wisdom age has gained. God, give me joy in the tasks that press, in the memories that burn and bless, In the thought that life has love to spend, In the faith that God's at journey's end. God, give me hope for each day that springs, God give me joy in the common things. ~ Thomas Curtis Clark

Bless our differences, O Lord. and let us love across all barriers; the walls we build of color, and culture, and language. Let us turn our eyes upward and remember that you who made us all, live and breathe and move within us, untouched by our petty distinctions. Let us love you as you are for you love us just as we are.

O Lord, Hear my prayer for all who are in trouble this day. Encourage those who are finding it difficult to believe in the future and doubting the truth fo your existence or the validity of your promises. let your hope fill their hearts as they recall all your past fatihfulness. Bring wise friends intotheir lives who have long known the reality of your love. Let them be assured that you can take care of every need, no matter how large or small.

| Ojibwa Prayer Oh Great Spirit, whose voice I hear in the winds And whose breath gives life to everyone, Hear me. I come to you as one of your many children; I am weak... I am small...I need your wisdom and your strength. Let me walk in beauty, and make my eyes ever behold the red and purple sunsets. Make my hands respect the things you have made, and make my ears sharp so I may hear your voice. Make me wise, so that I may understand what you have taught my people and The lessons you have hidden in each leaf and each rock. I ask for wisdom and strength, Not to be superior to my brothers, but to be able to fight my greatest enemy, myself. Make me ever ready to come before you with clean hands and a straight eye, So as life fades away as a fading sunset, My spirit may come to you without shame.

Went to a spiritual retreat this past wqeekend..At the sobriety countdown the oldest member had 32 years and the youngest was 1 day... The one with one day stood at the podium with the oldest member and shared his thoughts on hope and thanked all of us for keeping the doors open for him.. It was a very moving tribute to all who continue to carry the message and keep the candle of hope burning
