| mergirl | "Out of Chaos, Brilliant Stars are Born"
The powers that be are having a grand old time playing push me pull me. I feel "messages" and kicks in the behind. this past 5 days my life at home has been a mess, and getting worse BUT I went out of town Saturday-Monday and had giant "signs" of what was there for the taking. So I sat home today, somewhat frantic, trying to get the ball rolling on the big change. Part of the change involves moving, and my sister just bought a new house, so I was looking around for things I could pass on to her before packing. The first thing that caught my eye was a framed (chinese?) symbol, it has been on my wall for a long time. I don't remember ever reading it before, but it was hung right above my bed. It says "CHAOS - WHERE GREAT DREAMS BEGIN Before a great vision can become reality there may be difficulty. Before a person begins a great endeavor, they may encounter chaos. As a new plant breaks the ground with difficulty, foreshadowing the huge tree, so must we sometimes push against difficulty in bringing forth our dreams. Out of Chaos, Brilliant Stars are Born" I think I will keep that hanging for now=)

I love what you shared, maybe because I need to remind myself of this often. Most of the "good" changes I have made in my life came out of chaos, often like God throwing a "detour" sign on my path and showing me a better one. I call these "God's strangely wrapped gifts" because it is usually only in hindsight that I get to see the "gift" in it all. I often share that I wouldn't wish my life on my worst enemy, yet I would not trade one day of it with anyone because it all brought me to the good place I am in today. Quote:
Thanks for this reminder today. I, too, am going to print that out and keep it where I will see it each morning. Hugs
