Freedom

When we are free on the inside we call others to freedom. Freedom attracts wherever it appears. We create a space where others feel safe and want to dwell. Our world is so full of conditions, demands, requirements, and obligations that we often wonder what is expected of us. But when we meet a truly free person, there are no expectations, only an invitation to reach into ourselves and discover there our own freedom.

Where true inner freedom is, there is God. And where God is, and that is where we want to be.

Amen, navysteve, I am grateful today to be free from the chains of codependency and it was only the grace of God that led me out.

Hugs

That reality is perhaps the only thing that keeps me going to meetings (AA). It was the freedom I saw in others that made me want it for myself and made it attainable. I was drawn to those who had recovered.
