I love those flying dreams Sherry!

had them since I was a child.

I've discovered during meditation, sometimes, a feeling of flying, but it's more like traveling at speed above various landscapes.....like seeing...scenes, than the feeling of actually flying in dreams.

It doesn't happen all the time, tho the alkie in wishes it would lol

Me too...I skip up...and fly...and sometimes just take off at magnificent speeds

over vast landscapes....sometimes...I come down..and skip up gain..desperately

trying to fly free.

You've made a lot of friends throughout your life, and you'll be making a lot more. You can be very proud of this.

But you can safely multiply that number by 7 to reveal the minimum number of secret admirers who've loved you from afar; by 100 to approximate the minimum number of people you've inspired; and by 10,000 to uncover the least number of lives yours has improved. And this... I'm very proud of.

Any apparent exceptions are simply evidence that work is still in progress, whether or not it can be seen.

We call it the "Things always work out for the best" law. Catchy, huh?

Sometimes I hate it when something my mother said 19990 times turns out to be something I believe today. I don't hate it that she was right...I hate it that it took me so darn long to "get it".

I just got home from babysitting my grandbabies in another city. My sister

stayed with Mother, who called me the day after I left. She said.."Honey, I

miss you." "Miss me? Oh, Mother, why...I am so boring", I laughed....

(and have been grumpy, and caught up in self lately I thought)

But your post helps me realize maybe it's not the great and wonderful things

I do for her...but the small things, on a daily basis...that matter so much..

and just being there.

Your mom was a wise mama, and I am sure you were a wonderful daughter..
