so sad about Eight Belle at the derby yesterday...

i did this on the gratitude forums, thought i would bring it here with a different spin!

now for the "Recovery Derby"

its Post Time!

and their off!

as they head out, its Willingness first, Action second, and Higher Power

third...

followed by Easy Does It, One Day at a Time,The Loafer, Jaywalker, Step

13, Bleeding Deacon, Wise elder, Attitude of Gratitude, and Powerless!

coming around the back stretch, its Action first, Attitude of Gratitude

second and Higher power third...

wow, what a race!

coming down the front stretch...

its Attitude of Gratitude and Higher Power neck to neck!

Easy Does It and The Loafer last...

at the finish line!

we have a photo finish!

its Higher Power by a nose!

I'm not a betting person, but that's where I would have put my money.

Higher Power is a sure win and has never let me down yet.

Now those field horses are real dogs, Coulda, Woulda and Shoulda...but Gratitude and that filly named Faith are never far behind HP.

Did someone yell Whoa Nellie??

Thank Goodness Justification and Rationalization were scrubbed from the race.

Did you hear the roar of the crowd at the finish line.. ? Even the Angels were dancing with JOY.
