You know, in my father's later years, and up to the day he died...he kept telling me he wanted me to be happy. I kept telling him I was. But he must have seen something with those hazel blue eyes....because when I read this: Quote:

| To bring our woundedness and sorrows to God means more than praying novenas for relief... It is a direct encounter between the deepest places of our inner mystery with the mystery of God... May even sorrows, frustrations, anger and hurt become bridges to a passionate intertwining with God... May you now face them together with God... Blessings

Experience, growth, bittersweet, ......all these words come to mind. It also reminds me of a rose, signifying great love, with the thorns..part of the beautiful plant...the Creator designed it that way. Thanks P.

| When we pray for our inner healing, we permit God to visit all those areas of our life where we have been wounded... At the base of these wounds we discover the potential for forgiveness... This is the door through which we pass in order to take up our life as filled with the love of god... May we encounter the One who forgives... May we forget the anguish of the past... I found that forgiveness...a personal encounter...He spoke to me in a hotel room and said "You will not kill yourself..not today." In that moment..I also saw myself (as I was) so sick, so "dirty"..but (through His eyes of love) totally and completely forgiven. Finally..(and still within that moment) I forgave myself and stopped running. How can I not forgive others after that experience? It is not easy. But all I have to do is to look back..and remember my first amends..were to God, and to myself.
