May We Find

May We find, in ’08,

all the time We lost

wishing or debating

Others to Be

other than they are.

May, in ’08, Awareness,

of the interconnections

between thoughts, words, and actions,

become Our path

to the Peacefulness We share.

May We See, within ’08,

the taste of lemon-meringue,

smell the cloud drenched Sky,

and speak from the sight

of Rainbow filled Mornings.

May ’08 bring to each

all the Blessings

never asked for,

upon the winds of fire

fanned by Our forgiving Souls.

May Our next 365

have Moments of Joy,

compounded by Epiphanies of Glee,

where just Being where, who,

how, and what We are

finally becomes Enough.

May We Witness ‘08’s pride

that We have made it this far,

along the road least traveled,

from the Valley of lost hope,

to the Now of Beginning.
