| believer | Bhutto's vision
I always believed there is something much bigger, much more beautiful and much more explanatory of why suffering is such a part of humanity. But if we stop just for a bit, we see how suffering is so necessary for our learning, for some times we are so stubborn and won't learn until it hurts. And then there are moments when we question why?... Well we might not know, but i choose to believe in greater and beautiful things, even tough knowing there are souls that are willing to hurt i have to walk on the street knowing if i get shot i still am a child of God and everything will be just fine. Bhutto meant something. She will leave her mark. It's sad and revolting, but her spirit will never be killed. Whatever was her role, not even a bullet to a heart, not anything can break a spirit that's willing to pass on the light. For that i pay my tribute, just for that reason, the reason of her believing in humanity. |

Karim, It's so funny that you should start this thread. I haven't listened to anything that I can remember about this woman, Bhutto. I really don't know anything about her, but have been hearing that she was assasinated. This morning they said that it was shrapnel and not a bullet that killed her. I was thinking to myself that I hope that whatever it was that she believed in and was trying to accomplish was really worth her losing her life over. The news said that she was buried today. It's nice to hear that she was so humane and compassionate. Although I still do not know what she was trying to accomplish. I hope that she has succeeded in some way. I'm so sorry that she was killed.

Thanks for this post! I was so shocked to learn about her death. I didn't know much about her, just that she was running in the next election. When I would see her on the news, I would just think, "that is so awesome that a woman is possibly taking control of an Arab country. There is hope!" Yesterday, I spent much time on the web reading about her. I just wish I had followed her career more closly when she was here. Such a tragic event. |
