The nearer the astronomers and the physicists get to the ultimate composition of all things, the nearer the universe approaches a mathematical formula, which is thought.

The universe may be the thought of the Great Thinker. We must try to think God's thoughts after Him.

We must try to get guidance from the Divine Mind as to what His intention is for the world and what part we can have in carrying out that intention.

Today can be lived in the consciousness of God's contact, upholding you in all good thoughts, words and deeds.

If sometimes there seems to be a shadow on your life and you feel out of sorts, remember that this is not the withdrawal of God's presence, but only your own temporary unwillingness to realize it.

The quiet gray days are the days for doing what you must do, but know that the consciousness of God's nearness will return and be with you again, when the gray days are past.

When I let personal piques and resentments interfere with what I know to be my proper conduct, I am on the wrong track and I am undoing all I have built up by doing the right thing.

I must never let personal piques interfere with living the way I know God wants me to live.

When I have no clear guidance from God, I must go forward quietly along the path of duty. The attitude of quiet faith will receive it's reward as surely as acting upon God's direct guidance.

I must not weaken my spiritual power by letting personal piques upset me.

Though it may seem a paradox, we must believe in spiritual forces which we cannot see more than in material things which we can see, if we are going to truly live.

In the last analysis, the universe consists more of thought or mathematical formulas than matter as we understand it.

Between one human being and another only spiritual forces will suffice to keep them in harmony. These spiritual forces we know, because we can see their results although we can not see them.

A changed life - a new personality - results from the power of unseen forces working in us and through us.

All that depresses you all that you fear, is really powerless to harm you. These things are but phantoms. So arise from earths bond, from depression, distrust, fear, and all that hinders your new life.

Arise to beauty, joy, peace, and work inspired by love. Arise from death to life. You do not even need to fear death. All your past sins are forgiven if you live and love and work with God.

Let nothing hinder your new life. Seek to know more and more of that new way of living.

Many of us have a sort of vision of the kind of person God wants us to be. We must be true to that vision, whatever it is, and we must try to live up to it, by living the way we believe we should live.

We can all believe that God has a vision of what He wants us to be like. In all people there is a good person whom God sees in us, the person we could be and the person that God would like us to be.

But many a person fails to fulfill that promise and God's disappointments must be many.
