Beloved children, your life is governed by law, and you find yourselves in exactly the place and with the circumstances which you yourself have chosen. "But this is nonsense," you will say. "I would never have chosen this life !" This is the outer-self speaking, the mortal mind; but the real self, the divine spirit within, knows the needs of your soul. Think of this God-urge as a radiant light ever guiding your soul on the path. Not a moment of your time need be wasted or misspent. The whole purpose of your life and the purpose behind every human experience is the growth and unfoldment of your soul. If you will delve beneath the surface of experience for wisdom and knowledge, you will hasten this process of growth and unfoldment. It is not what is happening to you on the outer planes; it is neither your circumstances, nor the riches which you may or may not possess that matter, but only your inner reaction to those circumstances, your relationship from within of your fellow man and to God. The circumstances of your life are actually a form of initiation through which you are daily passing.

I'm inviting you to take an honest look at the choices you make and when you make a certain choice recognize that's the choice that feels better for you in the moment. Honor it as opposed to feeling bad about it. Don't make it about something you claim you don't really want to do. When the time comes to make a different choice you will, simply because, you choose to do so...

An old man showed up at the back door of the house we were renting. opening the door a few cautious inches, we saw his eyes were glasy and his furrowed face glistened with a silver stubble. he clutched a wicker basket holding a few unappealing vegetables. He bid us good morning and offered hios produce for sale. we were uneasy enough to make a quick purchase to alleviate both ourr pity and our fear.

to our chagrin, he returned the next wek., intoducing himself as Mr. Roth, the man who lived in the shack down the road. As our fears subsided, we got close enough to realize that it wasn't alcohol, but cataracts, that marbelized his eyes. On subsequent visits, he would shuffle in wearing two mismatched right shoes, & pull out a harmonica. ewith glazed eyes set on furture glory, he'd puff out old gospel tunes between conversations about vegetables and religion.
on one visit, he explaiimed, God is so good!! I came out of my shack this morning & found a bag full of shoes and clothing on my porch."

"That's wonderful, Mr. Roth." we said. "We're so happy for you."

"You know what's even more wonderful" he asked. Just yesterday I met some people who could use them."

First impressions are often wrong...it is what is on the inside of people that truly matters...not how they are dressed, or the glazing of the eyes......
We never know the inside if we are too quick to judge and we run from someone who might be a little bit different than us.
