4th week
Slept OK and had an easy day (less pain from my injuries)
I'm having poached lemon chicken for supper. A real plus not drinking is you eat so much better.
My skin has improved and I don't have a red nose and sunken eyes (so much).
Anyway - well done comrades on another day :-)

Weekend off, hubbie is working, so just me & my loony boys! Got loads of fresh air during the day, then caught up on the end of GOT S6 & started S7!!
Back to work tomo, not worked out since thurs so feeling a bit lazy but hey-ho!!!

Good morning friends. Had a rough one yesterday as the family dog of 13 years passed away. It was really a blessing as she had been battling several ailments recently, but still difficult to say goodbye after so many years. Strangely quiet in the house this morning, as I always let her out, filled up her water, and gave her a treat before pouring my coffee and logging onto SR.
Quite a bit of buzz in my area today as we are in the path of the eclipse. My company is giving us a 90 minute lunch break today and passing out eclipse glasses so we can participate. The weather is going to be the issue though, as the forecast is looking pretty cloudy.
How about that GOT episode last night!!! I won't spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it, but I didn't see that coming. And is next week really the final episode of the season?! After the length of time that we had to wait for Season 7, we only get seven episodes?!?!
I hope that everyone starts their week on a positive note. Another blessed day of sobriety.

Sorry for your loss, must be an awful feeling ClearPath. Well done for not using it as an excuse to drink.
The GOT episode was awesome and when my friend said next week's was the last one I thought he was joking another long wait for season 8 ahead.

Sorry to read about your dog Clearpath, at least she is no longer suffering.
Well done on the 30 days WME3.
I have heard there is only going to be 6 episodes in season 8 of GOT but they will be longer. Cant wait to see how it all ends.

Back after eclipse frenzy. I never left my work, but there were "parties" all over. 93%, as Rune said, and it was cool. Feeling the temperature drop as interesting, as was the change in the ambient light.
Been a busy couple of days -- home/away/home/away. Hard to find time to sit down and check in here. And I missed it/y'all.'

I'm still here, 49 days, just not in the habit of checking this forum yet.
Struggling emotionally lately and I guess I just don't know what to do next. Off to search the forum a bit for some answers before I make a quick dinner and get to a meeting tonight.

Just came back from a lazy gym session, didn't have much energy today due to not much sleep for the past 4 days. Have to go into work for a couple of hours and this evening I have a football game to watch. Still having sugar cravings but I'm going to wait till day 60 and then crack on with sorting that out.
How did your evening go LearningMama? Did you feel better after your meeting?
