I'm feeling wobbly. I never felt so stressed in my life. I bought vodka bottle. It's hiding in the car. I'm too scared to drink it. What do I do

get rid of it - dump it in a public bin, take it back to the shop, give it to a friend or pour it down the sink. ..whatever is easiest and quickest but do it now.

If we want different outcomes we need to make different choices.

All the things you want to have happen in your future - all the relationships you want to fix - all that needs you to be sober and stay that way.

Ok Dee. It's down the toilet. Never thought this would be so hard. I saw an exfriend today. I had to ditch her because she stole $200 out of my bank account. She is an alcoholic as well. So sad. Just wandering around looking lost. Feel terrible. When does the pain end

SC - perhaps it's time to examine your life AS IT IS today and see if it's really AS BAD as your addiction would like you to believe. to be constantly upset, or afraid, or sad, is the perfect SET UP - just another EXCUSE to drink.

you have funds coming in on a regular basis.
you have a house.
you have a car.
you are mobile, not house bound.
you have friends in your life.
you have your parents.

this might be a good time to get into a mindset of GRATITUDE.
