30 Days today!!
Hi everyone, my name is Maureen. I just got out of a 28 day impatient rehab 2 days ago and I am grateful to have 30 Days of sobriety today.
I am realizing just how much of a "safe bubble" I was in while at rehab and the hardest however most rewarding started the day I was discharged from Ashley Addiction.
I have a treatment plan but I would be lying if I told you I'm not scared to death. At this point in my life I am willing to do anything to never go back to that dark and lonely life I was living under the control of my disease. One day at a time is the only way....
Prayers to all that are fighting this evil disease.

Great to hear Maureen. I'd definitely join the July class thread for extra support. If you feel like you're ready to drink, post on here and you'll get tremendous support to get you through the urges. Have a solid plan in place and DO NOT DRINK. You're doing awesome!

Skittles- good. Okay- you are physically alright. You have been given 'tools' to use. You have a plan. You have new hope. Now- the every day application of the hopes and dreams. Routine, journal, meetings, doc, looking after you- food, cleaning..., learning new skills and growth by using those tools Posting here. Regularly. Journal. Journal.
