I'm disappointed and I'm trying to not beat myself up and be positive for this next try. So here is what happened.... We got out early and super prepared for our camping trip. My husband's truck motor blew on a steep grade while towing our trailer. We were stranded in no cell.reception in 100+ degree heat f9r 6 hours before help arrived. What should have been a 4 hour drive ended up being a 14 hour ordeal. We barely escaped heat stroke. The kids are ok from our efforts but we suffered a lot and I'm still recovering. Long story short we had a great tow company pick up our request after many others turned it down from AAA. The only reason we got our request in is because we happened to see a AAA driver and flagged him down and he called it in. All is well but I was so stressed and I found booze while cleaning out the trailer. I should have stopped and thought and walked away. I gave in. When I got to therapy next I'll talk about it. I can't go back but I can go over the situation and be better prepared for next time. So here I am at day 1 after over 30.
I'm so sorry that happened to you. I'm glad you came right back and posted, and you also reflected on where you went wrong and would change next time around, I think that's an important part of recovery/life.
