I've been to a whole bunch of AA meetings where the topic was on how we're powerless to control how other people are going to react to our actions, good or bad. Wishing this man the best but I have to agree with you, Phoenix, that he's probably in for a rude awakening today.

I live very close to a Mennonite community so it isn't isn't unusual to see a horse and buggy parked at the Walmart here or at the grocery store. Since I have to go to both of those places today the odds of finding a horse to help is in my favour

Wow richter scale day huh? Let's hope it stays quiet is So. Cal, it can shake all it wants in No. Cal though 😝 I'm feeling a little doomed though. Someone on our community Facebook page was asking about earthquake insurance last night, now it's national richter scale day. Oh well I have quake insurance but that dude and a number of others will be SOL.

Have a good day Marchies!

Casey - sounds like McDonald's there is a lot cheaper than here. $9 would probably only buy you one combo of some sort. Hope you enjoyed it.

CH - hope today's better for you. Doing the best you can is all that can be expected but I know that we often expect so much more from ourselves. Be good to you today.

Keets - how did the interview go?

Bobbie - I also think the sober compound in the woods is a brilliant idea!! Maybe a log cabin on a lake....

Morning BBG!!! What's on the agenda for today?

My face is pretty tender today and a little bruised....glad I took the extra day off work. No real plans except to get back to some healthy eating....been off track for too long.

Well off to find some startin' fluid!!
I got the job! Ok well I got it as long as I can pass a ua bg check is fine so not worried about that

Hi everyone,

Checking in ... just got home from an AA meeting. I always feel better and more grounded afterwards. Not much else going on today. Trying to catch up on laundry and cleaning ... boring. I won't drink today, no matter what.

Hope everyone is doing well xxx

I left work right after I got there with a terrible headache. Feeling a bit better after napping. Just finished face timing with my 19 year old. That girl looks just like me. Sometimes that shocks me a little.

Hope everyone's doing well.

Another long day. I reached a breaking point from stress, but a colleague helped me out. Hoping tomorrow won't be as frantic. Once again I'm too tired to even allow AV to whisper. The only thing I want is dinner and bed. I did get to come home to freshly painted ceilings! It should all be done mid-next week. Something to look forward to

I'll try to catch up later, but may just crash after dinner.

Hey everyone ~ back from this week's drum therapy.

Congrats Keets on getting the job! Awesome!

Hugs Phoenix

I agree on the sober house/log cabin for all of us to live on the lake. What's a good central spot where we could all relocate to? I'll pick up some lottery tickets tomorrow!

Oh, and it is also International Guide Dog Day!

I would drive a thousand miles for free books.

Speaking of books, I'm going to go read for a bit and try and crash early. Goodnight, Marchers. Thanks for keeping me sober one more day.
