Jack and Billie are absolutely gorgeous! They look so very happy and content. You must be sleeping so soundly, now that Jack's safely home and back on the bed!

What will you do to celebrate least... bacon for all in the house perhaps?

Are you getting Jack chipped as well?

Yes, he was chipped yesterday after his grooming.

I've been giving them lots of treats and biscuits and attention. I keep petting him, maybe to reassure myself that he's really home.

If I may ask, how did he slip away to begin with? I'm sure you have taken pains to make sure it doesn't happen again, I was just kind of curious. It's a long thread so I apologize if you described it and I missed it.

I'm so happy for you and Jack that you've been reunited!

That will always be a mystery to me. When I went out to check on him in the yard that morning, the gate was hooked and he was gone. I will never know how he got out.

With knowing that he walked out
of the gate that was mysteriously
unlatched by a stranger, taking
additive measures to ensure that
this doesn't happen again would
definitely put your mind and heart
at ease.

An extra latch or lock that only
you can open. Something that
would take some extra time to
open, so that a stranger is not
tempted.

Maybe installing securiety cams
or signs to discourage criminals
from entering your space, yard,
peace of mind.

Your pets, home, yard belongs to
you but for criminals dopped out,
high on poison, whatever it maybe,
don't care about people, places, or
things not related or belonging to
them.

Portect all your belonging to the
best of your human ability and
keep everyone safe in todays age.
