Day 7

Today marks 7 days sober and I know that isn't a long time for most but I have drank every day for the past 7 months. Don't really understand or know how I did after these past 7 days. I am happy to be out of withdrawal city and am feeling a lot less anxious. The first 3 days sucked, like most I'm sure. luckily I had Ativan to help or I don't know what I would have done. My mind has been clear the last 2 days but my body is tired even with the 8 hours of sleep I have been getting. Body aches and pains from the chest down are still come and go specially around the liver but I think that has to do with the body trying to heal itself.

Congrats on the 7 days. I am on Day 16 in 36 minutes, and it continues to get better and easier. Just can never cave in and use. It's a personal battle in an alcohol saturated society.

Great job!! Your body is definitely healing and will continue to for quite some time. That takes energy, so rest as much as you can or can stand to.
