LOL.....didn't mean it like that. I've had a very productive day here & time with one of the Son who's dog died this week. There is a whole story about that I won't give into but maybe a lesson for both Sons & I this last week.....a lot of emotions but had some laughs & talked about it & neither of us like to talk so was a nice thing. Going to sit on my hands here now...have got a lot of things done & have one more full day off before new renter comes. Feeling hopeful & loved

Mariah, that did raise a smile "looks to be a very nice man........" lol.

But I'm sorry to hear about your granddaughter dog. I knew she'd been poorly for a while. It's so hard when they go.

Hope this is a better week for you.

In laws arriving Friday, for 7 weeks.

That's right, 7!

It's lucky I don't have a drinking problem or else I'd be in trouble.....

Bought another chainsaw, bigger engine and bar, a Stihl, 400 bucks with 2 spare chains, recently serviced...etc...

2 chainsaws, 2 parents in law..... coincidence or not....

Weather is here, Melbourne spring is late, but good.

Hope all are well and Tops, you had a great 60th.

Hi Dee, yes I did.
She has moved away from family etc....living in Oz, loves them dearly.. etc etc...

So I have to let it go, and focus on myself for 7 weeks. This has to be a glass half full situation, space is hard around here with baby at 19 months, so find something to do....surfing again at 42 is my idea and days on the chainsaw.

I can be a selfish person, especially control wise, so this is a good chance to practice letting go.....

I hope all's good your end Dee....

.

Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone !

Great choice on the bigger Stihl Obo, .... a buddy brought by his Stihl *Farm Boss* and it surely lives up to the name !
My maniacal surfer friends claim any day surfing is a good day .

Seven weeks surfing probably sounds like paradise .

Good luck with your new roommate Mariah, .....

Hopefully the rain storm they got around here last night willl help with the forest fires close by in the mountains . Apparently they've had drought condition for months until last night .

I'm terrible about following the all the bad weather related news of fires closer to home , .....

How's everything going down in Texas Izzy ?

Traveling back home early Wed. morning to make my shift Wed. night . Traffic should be better than what was out there Sunday , for sure .

Interesting times we live in , huh ?

Good choice with the saw obo, stihl are the best imo. Just be focused when using it,don't want you getting hurt because the inlaws have you distracted.
Also, make sure you give yourself alone time to decompress.

We are getting rain up here, hopefully it helps with the drought we have been experiencing.

Thanks Tops and Up, it's a lot heavier, I think I should only cut in the morning, when my head's clearer. The local bloke at the Stihl shop is a ripper. Full country, all day long.

We're using too much water, half the houses tank is empty already.
And that I didn't want
Need to get smarter about it all. My sweetcorn has come through. A full bed of it. Today we saw our first strawberry too.

Explained to my wife today, that at times over the next 2 months I may just need to leave the house. No questions or discussions, I would just need to leave. She agreed.

A pretty good day.

You definitely need a game plan, Obo. Getting through the next 7 weeks sober will boost your morale no end. Do you have support outside of your family, in addition to SR?

You're a braver man than me, that's for sure. I struggle to have visitors for a weekend - they always seem to want things to eat!

I've bought a new mega machine today. A new vacuum cleaner. I've had Henry Hoover for about 12 years, but now I have a .........Shark. I was hoping to find a ride on vacuum, but it doesn't look like they're quite as advanced as mowers yet.

It's fun, I have bowling green lines all over the house now.

Hope everyone's week is going well.

Sure they do.

Obo, I agree with free, I hope you have some kind of plan and additional support.
