Thanks for the replies everyone. My life is in shambles. I lost everything and everyone so rebuilding from nothing and doing it alone is so overwhelming. I don't know what happened to everything. I literally have one pair of shoes and one pair of jeans. I'm going to join an AA group to begin with.

. Small first steps are important. (Or if you can't walk, crawl....as they say. ) As alcoholics, many of us have an "all or nothing" mentality. I know I did. I didn't want to fix stuff a little at a time, I wanted to have somebody wave a magic wand and fix everything all at once, and for good! But we all know things don't work that way. Let us know how your first meeting goes.
