Maybe your brain is telling you that drinking less every day is a good way to "taper" down or whatever, but your body is telling you nope -sorry - don't agree with you - can't take this anymore and up it comes.

ok guys i did some research and apparently what i have is quite common. Apparently If you abuse alcohol for a long period of time you reach a point where you body is unable to break down the alcohol. I'm going to see the Doctor tomorrow just to be on the safe side. Its weird because Ive met people who have abused alcohol for like 20 years and they dont get this

I'd see the doctor as suggested, but know that for me, my tolerance really dropped away and even small amounts affected me badly.

Seeing the doctor would be step one?

My tolerance dropped away to almost nothing during my last relapse. I was maintaining relatively successfully for a while, and then it was like my body jist flipped a switch. I would get blacked out and incoherent after just a few drinks. But, being a world class drunk, I would try to push through it and keep drinking. I would end up sick, not eating, and blacked out for two day stretches, because my body couldn't eliminate the alcohol. Let us know what the doctor has to say.
