Ugh, another drinking dream. Vodka this time. couldn't get up until the dread passed. So happy to be sober and sipping on my coffee. Off to the first day of work in 2017.

5:20 AM and off for the last time to my early AA meeting here in about an hour.
Then it's load up the trailer and head back home.
A beautiful 65 mile drive home through the Cuyamaca Mountains.

ugh, another drinking dream. took a few swigs from the whisky bottle and suddenly it was half gone! I was trying to sneak it into bed with me... it's odd that the dreams are about hard liquor when I was a beer drinker.

Woke to alarm. Giving AS a ride to work in a bit.

A balmy 9 degrees and 5-10 inches of snow predicted. I see a lot of shoveling in my future.

Therapist at 1:00
Work at 3:00.

Minus 2 out but still managed to smoke a couple cigs.
That's one addiction I've been unwilling to give up.

Taking son to work and may shovel snow again or may wait till
it's above zero tomorrow.

A few chores planned, Then going to the gym with my son. after dropping my daughter off to volunteer at the food bank.

Wife told me this morning that I don't snore "as much" now that I'm sober. One of the many benefits....
