I'm very happy you posted too, SoberFreckles, and that you were able to see it in a new light. I was also getting some kick out of walking on the razor edge of how much I could control and get away with. So sick when I look back at it.

There were many times when I returned to the drink
and things went what I thought to be very well for a while
but, in the end I was always brought once again
to the grief which was brought on from
running with the liquid devil.

Some can drink normally their whole life with no problems caused.
Other will grow old and look back at an old drunk.
