Woke in the middle of the night.
Not good, I have a very big sober day planned tomorrow.
Even though I have these early wake ups often,
still feel pretty good the next day compared to my old drinking nights.
Grateful M-Bob

I'm so embarrassed, and this is my first morning drunk, ugh.

Thanks Dee and it has been a pretty good day considering I did not get much sleep last night. A while ago I smashed my fingers it the garage door. A little sore right now. Does make me wonder if that would have happened with proper sleep ? I'm afternoon tired.

It's Night Owl someplace.

Bob, maybe you can stay up a while tonight - at least until 9-10pm. I usually find that it's worth staying up when you're super tired, because it guarantees a long and peaceful night's sleep. Good luck.

Jarred, sorry to hear about your drinking. Maybe go back to bed, and start over again?

Before I dropped off some months ago, I really enjoyed reading what the night owls and MMBob's early birds were up to.

Our local barometric pressure is going a little haywire so I am awake and thinking once again about looking into setting up a little home 'weather station'.

Also have some abstinence supportive lit on the nightstand to read. In all the time I spent without drinking since joining SR, I never quite felt able to break through a certain ceiling/barrier/threshold into 'sober' territory in real life.

Time to take things to a deeper level or I will continue to allow myself duping room. I think that I have carried an Ace up my sleeve for as long as I can remember. Time to rely on and trust myself. Learn to live with less secret fear.

How is your night going? Can you hear the crickets and frogs? Wherever you may find yourself this eve, I am wishing you well.

Good to see you as well Dee.

So mid-afternoon in Australia: instead of hearing crickets and frogs...can you see any mega spiders devouring small animals or snakes? Or hear them crunching bones for that matter?

Happy mid - afternoon to you all.
