my meds

They have been helping allot; but even on them I've had major panic attacks in public. So something I need to bring up next shrink meeting.

But everything is going better; I have a counselor now to & my gf (no longer ex) is coming down in 3 weeks again to help w\ moms apt. Mom seems to be coming around as well realizing she is moving & has lost her partner of 50yrs :'(

My brothers have no idea I'm leaving in Dec, but as much work as my gf have gotten done, we've done well more than my share. Pain and all.

My name is August West, and I love my Pearly Baker best more than my wine.
More than my wine - more than my maker, though he's no friend of mine.

Glad to hear things are going well despite a few setbacks. It sometimes takes a while to find the right med/dosage so hopefully you can work with your docs to find it.

It's also great to see you taking the setbacks in stride and looking toward the future AW. You've come a long way.

Well I've always been fearful of meds for mental issues, but they've seem to come a long way & I realize it's not just the meds but counseling to go w\ it.

Setbacks happen & that is something the shrink & meds & my Buddhist reading has taught me. I've been working on myself as much as I have trying to support mom.

Strangely it seems my gf's last visit made more of an impact than I did on her. I am so very glad of that.
