Please Help Ringing In The Ears...

I just felt kind of funny all day today. My toes are twitching, my hands are shaking, I feel uptight..actually I'm wound tighter than a top...And I've got this RINGING in my ears.

Could this be from Xanax withdrawls?

No, no aspirin today...I felt a bit dizzy too...weird..I never have dizzy spells...

Have you spoken with a doctor?

My tinnitus hasn't gone away, I just ignore it as much as possible.

Have you stopped Xanax cold turkey? Or tapered down too quick?
Xanax withdrawals are awful

Ringing in the ears is common from alcohol withdraw. Not sure about xanax. My left ear rang a lot during the first week I stopped drinking. Slowly went away. Call a doctor if you are concerned.

Well, I called the Dr. Then he called me back and I missed the call...so I called him again and was put on eternal hold...I know he must have been busy...I totally get that. Maybe he'll call back tomorrow...and maybe this ringing will subside. My ringer isn't ringing so well...

Tinnitus can be annoying but for most people it's temporary. I was advised to chew gum but that did nothing for me.

I've had it all my life - I'm used to it now

Only know about alcohol withdrawals...

I was told...give it a few months before deciding I was falling apart...healing takes time..

I was told right....getting better everyday....

I was pretty deep into the rabbit hole...

Stay clean and you will recover...

I had ringing in my ears from Ativan withdrawal. I still get it from time to time but only for a few seconds and then it goes away.

Man getting off that ativan was horrible and I never wish that on anyone.
