Class of August 2015 Part 6
Bekind-- I hate the winter weather. This is one reason I moved to California. We still get a winter where I live, but it's not anything like it was back in the northeast.
Key-- congratulations on 100 days! That's fantastic
lovehoops-- my appointment is on November 5, so next Thursday. I'm lucky because I've had to wait since July for this appointment; I called in July because I need to be scoped every two years. The gastroenterologist couldn't even see me until September and then we scheduled these tests for November. So if I were just starting this process I would be in for quite a wait.

Good news, in three parts!
1) After three days of doubling up on my Prilosec, my stomach doesn't hurt too badly today.
2) After talking it over with my trainer, I made an offer on the horse I rode, and it was accepted! Now I just have to have my trainer look him over and get a vet check and, if all goes well, he'll be mine.
3) I got an email from my old employer today. Different department; they have a two-year contract job that I'd be perfect for which will be listed through the temp pool. I connected with those people in that department just before I retired because I knew this position would be coming open and I wanted them to think of me for it. And they did! I'll be applying for it as soon as it's officially open and listed. It will be nice to work in a decent department and have job security for a couple more years while I work to get my own business off the ground. It's not a done deal but my references will be the two people who asked me to apply, so it's a fairly sure thing.
