New here
Hello. I am new to this site and I have been sober for two days. I already feel better, but there's that little voice nagging me to have a sip. Glad to be here and I look forward to being a part of the community.
Welcome to SR. That little voice will always tell you that one sip won't do any harm. I know where it leads when I listen and it doesn't end prettily with one.
Stick around and well done on two days.

Welcome
That little voice can be very annoying, but it doesn't need to have power over your actions anymore. I've read quite a lot about addiction and tried different recovery programmes and it might be an idea to look into it and see if any of it appeals to you :-)

Reply with a bigger voice that says, 'I'm feeling great now. I don't need that." BTW, you won't believe how much better, feeling better gets, when you are sober for a few months. It's amazing how good you can feel. Don't give in. Wait and see.

Hi there, I know exactly what you're going through, I've had thoughts tonight like .... just have one or two glasses, just drink what's in the house and don't buy more .... except I know that after the first glass I will be straight to the shop to get more!!!
